Electric Minds.

In 1996 and 1997, I was involved with Howard Rheingold's online community start-up, Electric Minds, as the technical support representative, a researcher, and a host.

(This strange bearded icon is a caricature by Luis Alcazar-Roman, supposedly crossing my appearance in early 1997 with that of the Electric Minds mascot, Buzz.)

I met a lot of interesting people on Electric Minds. I miss Electric Minds-- for about 5 months, it was an amazing place to spend time.
